Profile of Shaanxi Automobile Group

The headquarters of Shaanxi Automobile Group Co., Ltd (Hereafter as SHAC, Foreign brand for Heavy duty truck: SHACMAN) locates in Xi’an City of Shaanxi Province. Its predecessor is Shaanxi Automobile Manufacturing Factory which was found in 1968. SHAC has 35,000 employees with a total capital of RMB 29.2 billion, and ranks the 23rd place in Top 500 Machine Manufacturers of China. It is the largest and the only manufacturer of new-energy commercial vehicle in Northwest China.

SHAC has 20 subsidiaries, inclusive Shaanxi Heavy Duty Automobile Co. Ltd, FAST transmission Co. Ltd, Hande Axle Co., Ltd, Xi'an Cummins Engine Co. Ltd., Shaanxi Huashan Engineering Vehicle Co Ltd etc.  It principally engaged in heavy military off-road vehicles, heavy-duty off-road vehicles, heavy duty trucks, medium and light trucks, mini-trucks and pickup, buses, heavy-duty axles, transmissions, Cummins engines, and the R&D, production, sales and services for automobile and automobile trade finance business. Its military off-road vehicles with brand of "Yan'An" took part in the 35th anniversary of the National Day, the 50th anniversary and the 60th anniversary parade, becoming the only designated the army's heavy military equipment production base and the first SUV car export base. Its FAST transmission and HANDE Axle have 91% and 60% market share respectively for heavy duty truck.

Currently, SHAC have been exported to Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East more than 60 countries and regions in Iran, Sudan, Ethiopia and other countries to achieve the localization of production, export volume ranked the highest in the industry for many years.

Its heavy duty truck, SHACMAN, are sold to more than 80 countries around the world, with the Eastern Europe and CIS countries, Africa, Southeast Asia, Central and South America and the Middle East as its major overseas markets, supported by 5 oversea factories, 32 overseas offices, 17 4S shops, 2 self-built large-scale maintenance centers and 220 overseas service stations

The Asean office in Singapore is to better serve the customer at the region, and promoting the full range of SHAC product, such as Shacman Heavy duty trucks, Huanshan Engineering Vehicles, Tongjia Motors, etc. But also supply the Shacman truck spare parts for CUMMINS, WEICHAI, YUCHAI engine, FAST transmission and HANDE axles and various spare parts for the Shacman trucks, and other China truck brand.
