  • HISTORY OF CAMPI
    With the belief in strengthening the auto industry by consolidating the industry players into an all-inclusive organization, Mr. Jose Ch. Alvarez took the initiative of convening the automotive companies then and provided the needed initial resources for CAMPI’s formation. Thus, on May 16, 1995, CAMPI was born with an initial 11 founding member-companies.

    6.    PGA Cars, Inc.

    9.    Focus Ventures, Inc.
    10. Columbian Manufacturing Corporation

    The founding President of CAMPI was former Executive Secretary Peter Garrucho supported by the two pillars of the Secretariat who were Mr. Henry Moran and Atty. Homer Maranan.
    The following are the succeeding CAMPI Presidents:
    1.    Feb.1998 – Feb. 2003: Mr. Vicente Mills;
    2.    Feb. 2003 -  Feb. 2005: Mr. Jose Ch. Alvarez;
    3.    Feb. 2005 -  Present: Ms. Elizabeth H. Lee 

    Today, the Chamber is supported by the two pillars of the Secretariat who are Atty. Homer Maranan as Secretary General and Dr. Cecile P. Santiago as Managing Director.
